Samantha is a classically trained dancer having danced ballet, jazz and tap from two years of age.
She studied her Diploma Elite Dance and performance at the School of Performing Arts (SOPA). Along with extensive ballet and contemporary training, Samantha has also trained in urban styles and acrobatics. After graduating, she was awarded the Alumni Fellowship from SOPA.
Her extensive ballet training includes the Vaganova method from Russia, the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and most recently she was offered a position by the Budapest Ballet summer school to train with ballet masters from Russia, Ukraine, Spain and Hungary in extensive Vaganova classical ballet, pointe technique/repertoire, variations and character dance.
She is RAD trained in tap, jazz and ballet. Samantha is also a PBT qualified instructor and is a trained Acrobatics teacher holding an Acrobatic Arts Module One certification.
Samantha is known for her flexibility in styles and her passion for inspiring and connecting with a diverse range of students. She brings skill, knowledge and understanding of different learning styles to her classroom.
She currently teaches at several Melbourne dance schools with classes ranging in age and skill from beginner toddlers to advanced adults and professionals.
