Our daughter has been part of Yarra Heights Dance Academy for 10 years and is now a proud member of the Junior Performance Team. Over that time, the school has taught her so much more than dance, including discipline, commitment, teamwork, resilience and the importance of striving for excellence. We have also watched the academy grow significantly, while still maintaining the supportive and welcoming community that makes it so special for dancers and their families. Yarra Heights has felt like a welcoming, safe and inspiring place to learn dance from the moment we entered the studio until now. Yarra Heights Dance Academy has become so much more than a dance school to our family, it’s a place where we’ve found friendship, support and a true sense of belonging. Watching my daughter grow in confidence, form beautiful friendships, improve in technique and fall completely in love with dance is incredibly special. We could not be happier with our experience at Yarra Heights Dance Academy. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and supportive. For example, when we recently needed to change our class schedule, Raquel followed up right away and was so helpful in getting it sorted for us, which we are very grateful for.Our three-year-old daughter is absolutely thrilled to go to dance class every single time. Teacher Leticia is truly wonderful! She brings an incredible amount of patience and enthusiasm to the studio each week. The classes are always highly organized for younger kids, and we love how Leticia seamlessly incorporates teaching the younger kids their colors and numbers during class time though dancing. It is a fantastic community and a wonderful, nurturing environment for children
